SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Neighborhood

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie 2 Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services on the community.

SASSA will probably be rendering providers which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, in addition to the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency explained it is actually alarmed in regards to the significant range of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim in the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area daily. The assistance level developed for intervention experiences a superior influx of potential beneficiaries, that makes it difficult for that office to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise much more methods to allow the servicing of all shoppers and improve usage of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
